During the first week of August 2005, a tree planting funded by the Garden Club of Indian River County was completed at Grace Grove, A Habitat for Humanity Community in Gifford, Florida. The 34 trees, which were planted around a central pond, include 8 live oaks, 9 red maples, 7 bald cypress and 10 wax myrtles.

The oak, maple and cypress trees are 14' to 16' in height while the wax myrtles are 4' to 5'.
