COMMERATIVE PLAQUE
|
|

|
The Garden
Club celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 1953 by landscaping the area
where Royal Palm Boulevard and Royal Palm Place merge at their
western ends. A bronze commerative plaque was placed in the park.
This plaque was rediscovered by the Vero Beach Parks Department when
10 Royal Palm trees were being planted by the Garden Club. The stone
had disintegrated, so Civic Chairman Lynne Burns located a new large
granite one. It was installed by the City Parks Dept. |

Landscapes under the direction of owner Steve Metz. They planted 3
new cabbage palms, 3 triple Christmas palms, 3 foxtail palms, a Quad
Pygmy Date Palm, a Catley Guava and 93 shrubs. |
